I need to find a place to relax at beach with sunny & hot/warm weather in first week of January. does anyone out there knows a good place to go.
prefer north america, but open to suggestion for mexico.
I don’t have very high budget, just need to relax and release some stress. I appreciate any good suggestion from your personal experience.
I searched internet for many vacation deals, but got very confused.

My wife and I are looking for a fun, romantic and unique spot to spend a week celebrating our first year of marriage. The location has to be in the US. Neither of us enjoy hot summers or large cities so the usual destinations like beaches in FL, CA along with big cities Vegas are out. We enjoy history, dining, and outdoor activities (hiking etc). Our budget is around 00 total. Any suggestions would greatly appreciated!

I am in the process of planning a trip to Mexico sometime after summer school either in mid july or early august. It will either be a girls vacation or a fun romantic get away with the boyfriend so I am wanting to know what would be the hot spot to go to no matter who i go with. I am of course looking for an inexpensive spot but I want to be able to enjoy everything it has to offer. I would like to do the night life clubs, nice sandy beautiful beach, purchase inexpensive items (designer label stuff), and of course be in a safe location. I would like some detailed information from someone who has had previous experience. We are planning on taking a plane and I guess rely on taxi’s or buses for transportation. Also any input on hotels that are close by alot of attractions but not so expensive so we can avoid alot of far traveling. Websites will be appreciated also and any other information that can be given. ****College student in early 20′s that is on a budget if that helps****
oh also do i have to worry about hurricane season.. im from louisiana so that is always a worry but if im going that way in july or aug what are the chances..
another thing is what about prices…how much do people usually spend in mexico on expenses and juss on having fun.
what are some things to bring and not to bring over there.

Hi guys,
A couple friends and myself are interested in going out for a pseudo vacation, if you will.
Only thing is, we are not planning to spend alot of money, since we are all somewhat restricted of funds at the moment.
1.) We had thought to get a hotel locally (We live in Tucson,AZ btw or just stay at home) and spend a couple days visiting spots such as museums, the center for creative photography (which is the biggest in the US) drag racing, and going to the hottest restaurants in town, and stuff of that nature, but we feel it would "feel" too much like home.
2.) San Carlos, Mexico is a nice beach town, we could also spend a couple days there, but I hate the drive (It’s only 5 hours, but a lot of nasty traffic).
Do you guys have any other ideas? What have you guys done with a limited budget?
Essentially, anything to get us out of routine.
